. . . it's been a couple (read:3+) of months
. . . but, i got it back from the quilter . . .
. . . and i finally put in the last few
(read:several hundred)
stitches by hand . . .
. . . including
(my favorite)
brown/yellow polka dot SCALLOPED binding . . .
. . . my first attempt ever . . .
. . . and i really like it . . .
. . . it's a sleeve . . .
(we wouldn't want a sleeveless quilt, now ~ would we?)
. . . it holds a wooden slat to help the quilt hang flat . . .
. . . you can't see it, but there's one at the top, too . . .

I love it Stephanie!
The scallop border is the perfect finish.
It's so fun to get a quilt back from the quilters right?
