. . . styrofoam . . .

. . . i suppose it's
a necessary evil . . .
. . . especially with
all these fragile pretties
around . . .

. . . some is well made . . .

. . . with clear instructions . . .
. . . in multiple languages . . .

. . . making things easy to store . . .

. . . and though i love these pieces to death . . .

. . . i dread getting them out every year . . .

. . . because of the snowy mess . . .

. . . in the storage room . . .

. . . and on me . . .
. . . which gives the ol' dyson
a run for its money . . .

. . . styrofoam's saving grace, though . . .
. . . is it's amazing ability
to keep hot foods hot
and cold foods cold ~
just like a thermos . . .
. . . which is the reason
i'm seldom seen
without a sonic cup
close by . . .

. . . a trait i've apparently
passed on to elliott . . .
. . . whose exact quote was,
"a cooooooooooooold drink
like grammy's" . . .
. . . what a smarty pants . . .

I couldn't agree more....love those cold drinks like Grammy's!!!! I also have pieces of that dadgum styrofoam ...our nativity is one of my very fave things but it also comes with a mess and sometimes I tug and pull and still can't get the suction of it to let go of my nativity...they can make this fat girl crazy.....I'd have to say my favorite type of styro comes with the name Sonic in big ol' letters so I can still read it hahahaha love your posts.....on your post about Romney's Christmas card...it wouldn't let me leave a comment but my verification word was something like smbdyto and it made me laugh because it fit...you are somebody my friend...and you probably have a ton of cards by now but getting one from them says you ARE on the Who's Who list....YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!

Oh Mom, you're so clever! And Elliott is hilarious. And I still love my Dyson with all of my heart. It truly is the gift that keeps on giving!

Buying a Dyson was the best investment ever made in my life. I love/hate styrofoam too. Still recovering from the styrofoam mess my kids made about 4 years ago!
