i loved seeing the palm trees
and old glory swaying in the breeze . . .
. . . in this photo,
the temple represents my faith . . .
. . . the flag represents my country,
where i am privileged to worship as i choose . . .
. . . today marked the fiftieth anniversary
of dr. martin luther king's
historic "i have a dream" speech . . .
. . . i heard snippets of it throughout the day
as i listened to the radio . . .
. . . dr. king was definitely on the right track . . .
. . . we have a loving god,
who cherishes each of us,
his precious children . . .
. . . and we need to do the same . . .
