. . . well . . .
. . . as {bad} luck
{and even worse health}
would have it . . .
. . . my dad spent his valentine's birthday
in the hospital . . .
. . . but, our prayers are being answered . . .
. . . and he is feeling/looking SO much better
than at this time last week . . .
. . . believe me! . . .
. . . permission was granted to
celebrate in the hospital cafeteria . . .
. . . which closes at 7 p.m. . . .
. . . and children under the age of twelve are allowed . . .
. . . i would be personally in favor of
some kind of immunity . . .
. . . you know ~ protection from breaking an arm
when you are 80+ years old . . .
. . . which is {sadly} exactly what happened
four weeks ago today . . .
. . . it is nothing short of miraculous that
my siblings and i were
all in the same place at the same time . . .
. . . because as soon as one brother
finally moved back to arizona
{following many years away} . . .
. . . another promptly moved out of state . . .
. . . such poor planning . . .
{hospital lighting/cheap camera flash = not so flattering}
. . . thanks for coming, daren . . .
{i'm upset about no photos of baby tagg or baby tyler}
. . . addi and halleigh were
proud to present
their handmade birthday cards . . .
. . . and birthday hugs to grandpa great . . .
. . . uncles . . .
. . . aunts . . .
. . . and longtime . . .
. . . friends were on hand . . .
. . . to mark the start of year number eighty•three . . .
. . . happy, happy birthday, dad . . .
. . . love you lots . . .
. . . giving credit where credit is due . . .
. . . thanks, heather, for getting us all together . . .
{and just for fun at our house,

Sing it.....Happy Birthday Dear Jack!!! One of my all time personal favorite humans in the entire world. I pray for healing and strength for him to go along with that wonderful smile and doesn't your mom look beautiful by his side? And sorry to have to have the shindig in the hospital, but Happy Birthday just the same.
Now about that Staph ....is that also for Steph as is Stuph? Please get rid of that already.
Would you just look at his cute shirt...love it! Was that from you Stephanie...being pink and all...thought it might be...What a cute daddy and beautiful mother and how wonderful they let you do this in the hospital for him...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Bill...poor buddy...feel better would ya!!!
He did look oodles better than last week! Hooray!
No fun! I am glad he's feeling better though! Looks like you all made his day! I met your brother who is in my parents' ward. He was so nice!
Your dad looks happy! Baby Jack has awesome baby blues! I recognize those two gorgeous little girls-- aren't they Amanda and Amber (de ja vu) Hope your dad comes home soon!
Saw your parents at Gecko Grill on Saturday and they looked great! Some of my very favorite people in the whole world. So happy your Dad is healing well. Your Mom never changes, always looks beautiful. I love them.
Wonderful memories of 19th ward families! Great pictures too!
