. . . good news/bad news/good news . . .

. . . the good news is . . .
. . . these beautiful flowers
were delivered today . . .
. . . thanks to the greatest friends and neighbors
a girl could ever hope for . . .

. . . the bad news is . . .
. . . my sweet dad passed away last night . . .

. . . the good news is . . .
. . . he would have loved the flowers . . .
. . . additional good news . . .
. . . i'm a little jealous
he got to have
an amazing reunion
with his son/my brother . . .
{not to mention his parents, sisters, and friends, too!}
. . . i know i'll see them both again someday . . .
. . . it's up to me to live worthy
of that great blessing . . .

I knew your parents when we were in Dana Ward together. What a spiritual giant your father is. He was very loving and kind to your mother at all times. It's been a miracle to have him here with your family for this long. Bless him!

I stumbled across your blog some time ago and, as a fellow quilter, I LOVE looking at what you are up to. I have never commented, however wanted to take a moment to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. You and your family are certainly in my prayers!
