. . . you never "find" time . . .
. . . you have to make time . . .
. . . this week i made some time . . .
back in october . . .
. . . pairing these geese {for dummies}
. . . seventeen individual pieces of fabric . . .
. . . in a seven inch finished block . . .
. . . i made fifty of those . . .
{which equals eight hundred fifty little pieces}
. . . then alternate those
{totaling eight hundred ninety-nine pieces.
you can only think about the numbers after it's put together ~
otherwise it would drive you crazy!}
. . . which required a lot of planning . . .
. . . it reminded me of those puzzles
where you have to slide the pieces
inside the little frame
around to get them
all in chronological order . . .
. . . yep ~ it was kind of like that . . .
. . . still to come: borders, backing,
quilting, binding, sleeves {and a name} . . .
. . . but ~ it all takes time . . .

LOVE IT!
Oh my! It's beautiful! I'm impressed with your mathematical skills too! That's a lot of cutting and piecing...
It's a piece of art! It's so fun to do piece quilting. I can't wait to see how you put it together.
It's beautiful, but it makes my head hurt trying to think about figuring it all out!
ouch...this makes my neck, back, arm, and brain hurt just looking at it. i wouldn't even be able to put the first squares together because i'm sure my corners wouldn't match up. i'm too impatient to be as meticulous in making sure every tiny seam be the exact measurement to make something like this happen.
as always....a-may-Zing!
You are an amazing figurer-outer. Yes, thats a totally made-up word. I just like to follow someone else's directions or copying their ideas. This quilt is one of my favorites! The colors are yummy.
Cutest ever! You amaze me.
I just love this. You must have to lay it out as you go to get your colors even right? Looks like a lot of work but I have quilt envy for sure.
Oh Steph. What CAN'T you do!?? You are incredible! That is the most beautiful quilt EVER. The colors are amazing! Miss seeing you.
