. . . project
back yard beautification
continues . . .
. . . today's target? . . .
. . . these well-documented pots . . .
. . . the sweet alyssum
that once reminded me
of delicate pearl necklaces
or lacy collars
now just looks dry
and extra crispy . . .
{and it kind of reminds me of dandruff. ew.}
. . . but after a quick round
of deadheading . . .
. . . a generous trimming
around the edges . . .
. . . and a big gulp-size
swig of miracle gro . . .
swig of miracle gro . . .
. . . i'm hoping
for one more
month of pretty . . .
. . . please? . . .
. . . because i sure enjoy this view
from my kitchen window. . .
. . . which combines
yesterday's love of ivy . . .
{this valentines day heart-shaped topiary is still mostly alive!}
. . . with a lifetime love of pink . . .

Pink rocks. And so do you.
I love your view and pink and the smell of sweet alysum.....it always make me sad when the heat starts making it hard for our pretties to survive.........sooooo sad!!! Thankfully the view from my kitchen window can survive the heat.........it is big and ugly and metal and just sits there staring me in the face.....saying 1 866 STORE AZ .....and reminding me my WHOLE life is sitting in there and I still haven't had the heart to open it and go through it......even after a year.......I will come and do your dishes just to have your view.....it is beautiful!!!!
