money well spent . . .

. . . see? i told you . . .
. . . they love to play
with this nativity set . . . it kept addi & halleigh busy
for quite a while last night,
although tate,
at times, seemed more interested
in boogeying to
the sounds of duran duran

. . . it's "hands on" playtime . . .

. . . here's mary on the donkey . . .

. . . overheard conversation

went something like this . . .

{joseph speaking}

. . . "angel, you stay here

& watch the baby.

we need to go out

& find animals to

kill for food." . . .

. . . here's joseph on the camel . . .

. . . now, we don't know for sure . . .

. . . *maybe* he borrowed it

from one of the wisemen

and took it out for a little spin . . .

. . . we might need to work on

a few of the story details . . .

i'm thankful for grandkids!

so adorable!! I NEED one of those sets! You should just keep that set for your grandkids, they will love it to pieces and it will never break! So cute!

although I am partial to those camels with only three legs or angels with half a wing. (it just means some cute kiddo was learnin' about the meaning of Christmas!)

The girls did LOVE playing with that set for quite some time last night. They were STILL talking about Mary, Joseph & baby Jesus on the drive home. I'm sure the first thing they'll head for next time we come over is that nativity set. Yes, $$$ well-spent! :o)

I love sitting back and watching the kids play, they have such cute imaginations. I love the F.P. nativity, I have one that is stuffed figures (like stuffed animals) It is great for grandkids.
Yeah! mine will be here Wednesday night.

That's so cute that you have a set they can play with. I saw the post before this and I love the way you displayed your collection of nativity sets. I'm of course jealous of every thing in your house, including all of your Christmas decorations and the fact that they're out already!

I bought this for Shea last year so he would play with his nativity and not touch mine. Best Christmas decoration I've ever bought. He loves it as much as his cousins do. (Although he is currently VERY confused about the wisemen in the set and the wisemen who built houses on rocks and in sand. He keeps asking where are the rocks and sand. I guess we need to go over that again.)
