. . . from the looks of my posts . . .
. . . you might think that
vicarious back surgery
& burp cloths are my life . . .
. . . you might be partly right . . .
. . . sewing, for me, is therapy . . .. . . it is a stress reliever . . .
. . . & it has less calories
than potato chips . . .
. . . besides . . .. . . say, for instance,
network coverage of the
olympics that night consists of
{when really, all i care about are the highlights
- you know -
one runner elbowing/shoving another to get to the water station,
a runner nearly tripping on someone's discarded water bottle,
muscle cramps, stuff like that}
. . . it's good to have a little project
to keep you busy . . .
- you know -
. . . multitasking . . .
. . . just wondering if anyone noticed
the giant step i took
out of my comfort zone? . . .
. . . orange? . . .
. . . are you kidding me? . . .
. . . seriously, though,
there is more to my life
than my husband's back problems
& sewing silly burp cloths . . .
. . . i'm also really good at
waiting for my missionary son's emails
every monday . . .
. . . i'm deep . . .

I'd take orange over skulls/pirate whatever that was.......
And yes, have his burb cloths out.....there are two on my front seat in the Acadia now so they're being used!!!
These are sooooo cute. I think sewing is the cheapest, most relaxing therapy there is. I hope your husband continues to improve. I too wait for those wonderful e-mails. My day of anticipation is Thursday.
After spending the night sewing a pile of [quite ugly] book bags for RS Enrichment tomorrow night, I think I NEED therapy. Ugh. Love your stuff, though!
oh, janet . . . i hear you re: the bookbags. we (and as amanda says) and when i say "we" i mean "i" sewed 200 of those and filled them with school supplies two years ago for drew's/my eagle project. and, yes, they were all quite attractive. advil helps - and diet coke!
I ♥ those...they are "sew" cute! You are so talented! My email day is Wednesday's and this friday the 22nd is ONE YEAR!!!!!! WOOHOO!!! I made it...oh, I mean he made it.
Dear Mom,
I would be happy to provide you with some more "therapy." Be prepared to sew-away at some crib bedding, since cute baby boy bedding apparently does not exist.
You are welcome.
Love,
Your favorite (and most demanding) daughter!
Once again, good job! Way to be productive whilst watching the Olympics. I need to post pictures of the CUTE crib setting you made for Addi...you truly have serious sewing skillz. Wish I had 'em!
