. . . contrary to the way it looks . . .
. . . this overgrown shrub is not in the yard
of some abandoned home . . .
. . . oh, no ~ it's mine ~~ all mine . . .
. . . but it WAS in need of some TLC . . .
. . . which gave me blisters . . .
. . . also, i think my yard guy lied to me . . .
. . . he told me to keep watering
my potted geraniums . . .
. . . even though they look like ____ . . .
{death}
. . . and when it cools off . . .
. . . i should prune them {a lot} . . .
. . . and they'll come back stronger than ever . . .
. . . i think he lied . . .
. . . and if i lived outside, i'd die, too . . .

I love your blog. I'd die too if I lived outside. (Why do we live here May-Sept???) The older I get (and I am old) the more times I ask this question. Oh, yeah, my house (and Steve) are here.
ummmmm....thanks for the timely advice. I just ripped my brown fried potted geraniums out two nights ago after babying all summer. I gave up! Perfect pruning also...as with EVERYTHING.
your yard is perf all the days.
No, it really is true. Mine looked like crap last summer, but I kept watering them and they came back and were like 1039438 times more amazing. You just have to have ugly plants for a little bit longer..
