. . . slightly breezy . . .

. . . after i finished
on saturday . . .
. . . i treated myself
to a little sewing time . . .
. . . and finished putting together
quilt top . . .
. . . but as luck would have it . . .
. . . there are gale force winds
here in mesa today . . .

. . . such that
when i tried to get a photo
of the entire top,
it was as if it was a sail on a boat
or something . . .
. . . no amount of blue painters tape,
clothespins,
or bad words
could get it to hold still
and behave for a photo shoot . . .
. . . so the next best thing
was to drape it
over our scallop topped pool fence,
which definitely
isn't it's most flattering pose . . .

. . . maybe there'll be smoother sailing
after it's quilted and bound . . .
. . . and i have a feeling
that's gonna take a while . . .
. . . my quilter is very popular . . .

Having seen most of it assembled in person, I vouch for how wonderful this quilt turned out!

Love this quilt! After seeing you work on the blocks I ordered a copy for me. Haven't decided what fabric to make it out of - so many choices. Your flower pots are gorgeous!
