Blogging rules even when there are rolls to bake and turkeys to baste. Does anybody baste anymore anyway? We carve in the kitchen which is also the Table even on Thanksgiving. We had 14 around the table today and it was wonderful. I am thankful have you as a friend, both regular and blogging. Little Elliott is beautiful! Heart, Peg

did you warn her about pulling the carpet out with her toes every time he'll latch on for the first month?.....someone really needs to be kind and let her know to get throw rugs under her feet!

7 ities, I believe.
turkey? Are we suppose to be having turkey today? We have to carve it? ARGHHH. All these rules! Congrats on the new baby. Will I ever get one of those?
Throw rugs? Just stock up with tissues...for her tears of pain and joy!

Um, our table kinda IS in the kitchen, sort of, but we carve beforehand, so I'd say in the kitchen. Of course we had 3 tables today to accommodate 22.

Cute, cute baby. Have so much fun with him. I'm so happy for you.

Gravy is the sketchiest item I do every year...I always wonder if I'm gonna pull it off.

Novel. Sorry.

Hope the c-sec went well.....three later I love them! Can't wait to see more pics. Kev carved the turkey and I will admit I bought some very yummy pies from my friendly Schwan's man last week in preparation for today. Not one ounce of guilt there.

Happy 1st Thanksgiving Elliott! He picked a pretty sweet birthday if I do say so myself. Oh and Happy Thanksgiving to you too Steph and William!

Shellene's comment made me smile. I remember very vividly the curling of the toes when The Reedy latched on. Oh, motherhood!

I made a Turkey Roulade today - not quite ready to dive into making a turkey. It's a start, eh? And it was yummy!

Happy Thanksgiving to you & the fam!

Happy Thanksgiving to you! We carve in the kitchen...wasn't enough room at the dining room table to give it a proper demo...we served 15 here today...sure do love all these hungry mouths. I would ♥ ♥ ♥ to win one of these cute and awesome OOPS...for my little grandson. I love your posts!

That baby is seriously the cutest thing I've seen all day! A big fat hooray for the new little family, and hopefully someone snuck Amanda some delicious food today since she had to be in the hospital on this delicious holiday!

I know, I've already won a fabulous Oops, but I can't help myself. I only counted 5 "ity"'s and the Moffat's always carve the turkey in the kitchen (and according to my knowledge, they really are never wrong ") Happy [past] Thanksgiving! Love, Cam

Cute post! I believe there are 5 -ity words and my favorite would be fabulousity.

P.S. I too laughed at Shellene's carpet comment! She's so funny, but it's so true!

Elliott is PERFECT, and I know this first hand. Precious.
1. Lance carved our turkey in the kitchen, so the PRESENTATION was PERFECT.
2. If you count your instructions, there are 6 ity's, thank you.

Beautiful Elliot - Congratulations!
I found 5 ity words - 6 if you count the ity in your instructions.
We had 55 people at Kenny's parent's house for Thanksgiving and 2 hours later had 7 at my house. We carved both turkey's in the kitchen. There is no room on the table for any of the food becase there is so much of it. We serve cafeteria style.

with a new little Kempton on the way...I can't pass up a chance to get more amazing Oops!!! Elliott is so dang cute it's ridiculous, but seriously...did we expect anything less? Poor Amanda, sonds like it was a long night! Hard forst one...but hey-her hair & make-up can be beautiful for the next one (planned c-section!). We carve the turkey in the kitchen...but my absolute fave thing ever is Oven bags! My mom showed me those bad boys and a huge turkey only takes like 4 hours and is SUPER juicy without having to baste and all that fun jazz. SO excited for your new little grandbaby. Can't wait to sniff that newborn smell and snuggle his cute cheeks!

I love Elliott. (2 t's) He is perfection. My dad carves in the kitchen. We do it buffet style cause of all the food, people, tables etc. And 6 ity's. I didn't count; I cheated and read other people's answers.

I am so excited for Amanda! He is darling!Becoming a mom for the first time is the most amazing experience you can go through, i think:) And the comment about latching on, that is the FIRST thing I worn my girlfriends about! The doc can tell what to do to "prepare" but nothing will, just gotta bite your bottom lip and go, it will all be over in about 30-1 minute, YIKES! Your rolls look amazing! And the bedding you made for the nursery, AMAZING! I love reading your blog, it is so entertaining:)

Oh and Home Goods on Stapley & Baseline has this SUPER CUTE set of black & white damask-y christmas dishes I think you would LOVE:)

Sassy said...

Can I enter more than once....besides I forgot to add my ity's...which I counted five big one's!!!! Please Elder Romney pick me...I would be MOST HAPPY!
