I am thankful for them too! I am thankful for the freedom in this country, especially after being in Mexico for a whole week. We definitely have some interesting stories to share with you later today. I miss Grandpa and still think of him often.

Steph - I didn't know that your dad was a vet too (why am I not surprised!). My dad (Capt. Roby Head, USAF - Korea) is buried (scattered actually) on our property in Nutrioso, AZ, so I just had him on my mind today. We were able to spend the day with Donna's dad (Petty Officer Al Yeargin, USN - end of WWII). He's so sharp and funny for 81! I am proud to have served for 11 years (Maj. Koko Head, USCM)and saddened at the loss of some I served with over the years. Glad to know that we have all the military services covered! Semper Fidelis!
