The best of times, the worst of times!!!!! You can do it! I know how your heart will break...and yet your heart will burst with joy...so bittersweet! As far as the last couple of years, I totally know how hard to have a hubby not in good health, when Phillip fell off the roof almost 17years ago and it has NEVER been the same and ALL those months without him being able to work, and yet so thankful just to have him still. You are in my prayers as well as Bill and your sweet Elder.
Oh I am so sorry. I promise I have been there..It does get easier! Don't cry... you'll get me started. Deep breath....if I can do it, so can you! Give Drew a big "Hug"! It will be okay! ♥ Kim
We were trying to think of something to cheer you up last night. Aaron volunteered to shave a "B" in his chest and wanted Scott to shave a happy face in his and they were going to come down and ring your doorbell with the special message....ummmm we couldn't get all involved to go for it. You know big G would have been there in an instant! You'll feel better in about 3 months. Promise. :) It's one of the most bittersweet things a mom can go through. I think it's a little like cutting off your little finger at about the top knuckle. That might be a little less painful! Try to smile ... and pull the car over if you need to! We definitely need a "fun day" when you return!
Stephanie, You are truly an inspiration to this future Missionary Mom! Thanks for all you have done raising your family. I know that Drew is a HUGE example to Max and Zack. They have already included him in their prayers! Good Luck! Julie
I know you will make it because you are one of the strongest person's I know. They taught in nursing school that crying is HEALTHY! You're in good health!!?? Good luck to you!
You have every right to be crying! It would be NOT normal if you weren't crying over something like this. Hopefully the girls' question/concern as to why you had no mascara on yesterday will make you smile. ♥ you!
I'm sorry Sis. Romney but I'm laughing because I know what it's like to look back and see my mother blubbering as I walked into the MTC and all I could think was. . . WOOOHOOO I'm finally here and I'm gonna have the time of my life. And let me tell you between the gas pains and the power of prayer it really was one of the best times of my life!
Now I'm crying too because I grew into my spirit. . . like a child grows into shoes that were bought too big. . . and every moment of the rest of my life will be compared to that short period of time that I was a full time missionary.
The love of a parent helps every missionary (and every child) grow to fit their spirit. Keep praying for and bearing testimony to your Elder Romney. And think of your tears as liquid love!
How blessed are you for being blessed with such a choice spirit to send to the people of Mexico to bring to them His truth. You are amazing mother!!!
Stephanie, I was thinking of you today and remember all too clearly the tender feelings of this day. I loved what piko and kanoe said... she hit the nail on the head. LIQUID LOVE...I loved that.

Are you coming to the MTC? Cuz if you are I know a little cookie place nearby that makes all things better! good luck!
NOT crying is overrated. Cry all you want, since there's really no stopping anyways! :) Good luck this week.
