. . . what a surprise it was tonight . . .
. . . when this silly crew burst into our room . . .
. . . crazy south o' the border music
blaring from an iPhone . . .
. . . wearing traditional garb . . .
. . . and doing some sort of
festive choreography . . .
. . . {see photo} . . .
. . . that was only the beginning
of a surprise fiesta they planned . . .
. . . celebrating elder romney's halfway day . . .
. . . highlights included delicious soft tacos ~
chicken or beef . . .
{in honor of drew's future business venture}
. . . all the taco accessories you can imagine . . .
. . . red velvet cake pops
and two kinds of homemade cookies . . .
. . . not to mention strawberry and pineapple soda . . .
. . . along with a ridiculously adorable
welcome home banner . . .
. . . you'll see it in about 364 days . . .
. . . needless to say ~
these kids/grandkids are the best . . .

We are nerds. It was fun, though! Props to Amanda for putting this together. 364...soon to be 363 days to go!
They are the best. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I read this!
so this is the reason i never heard a peep from you last evening! how fun. i hope you put on one of our sexy seniorita dresses we'll wear as the two hot waitresses at the restarante!
Fun kids!
Amber looks like a super model.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....I loved this! WHAT FUN! Restaurant???? How cool is that? Can't wait to see this banner....it'll be here before we know it...and like Vicki said about not knowing whether to laugh or cry...my exact thoughts.
Oh, Cake Pops! You must be familiar with Bakerella or Pioneer Woman! We made some, well, my hubby and kids did, they were great, but not quite as pretty as Bakerella's. Have you seen her Easter Cake Pops?
Only you and your daughters would hatch this outstanding idea. So great... thank you, I am now going to copy it. :)
How fun is that!!!!
