. . . annual grandparents day
at the elementary school . . .
. . . which means we
bought and brought
three happy meals . . .
. . . first up were the first graders . . .
. . . here we are with tate . . .
. . . he's six now
and his two front teeth
are growing in very nicely,
thank you . . .
{he looks awesome in the sweater he borrowed from his sister.
he was freezing, which is understandable.
it was a "chilly" 75 degrees at the time.}
. . . after a few minutes,
the big fifth graders showed up . . .
. . . here's addison ~ she's ten . . .
. . . she asked me to visit her classroom
while bill went
on the second mcdonalds run . . .
. . . since it was pouring rain today,
the kids had to spend
their lunch recess indoors . . .
. . . there were a couple dozen laptops,
ipads, and iphones
for them to play games on . . .
. . . heavens . . .
. . . we used to play
heads up/seven up and hangman
on rainy days! . . .
. . . last up was our
almost nine-year-old fourth grader,
halleigh . . .
. . . she was surrounded
by about seven or eight friends
when it was time
to go back to class . . .
. . . three cute kids
who seem happy as can be
at their school . . .
. . . they're growing up so fast . . .

They are just as cute as they can be...what a fun, fun day!
The kids loved their life with you two there. Thank you! Tate is obsessed with his happy meal toy from "Old McDonald's".
