. . . shop 'til you drop . . .

. . . retail therapy in utah included . . .
. . . american quilting in orem . . .

 {where we found baby hayden's bedding fabric}

. . . then i discovered that
hobby lobby looks gorgeous
with the wasatch mountains
in the background . . .

{this is where we found fabric to reupholster baby hayden's rocking chair}

. . . i also visited the mothership . . .
. . . the original tai pan . . .
. . . located in sandy, utah . . .
. . . where guys on tall ladders
were trying to hang
enormous baskets
of silk flower arrangements . . .

. . . nice try . . .
. . . but not nearly as impressive
as those at material girls
in south jordan . . .

. . . because theirs were filled
with real live flowering plants . . .
. . . in the summer . . .
. . . outside . . .

{why do i live in arizona again?}

. . . we also took a little stroll
around the gorgeous new
in downtown salt lake city. . .
. . . wow! . . .
. . . what an upgrade
from the zcmi center
and crossroads malls
that used to occupy
the same space . . .
. . . the day we visited,
it was chilly {mid-50s}
and very windy . . .
. . . a perfect day to play
in the outdoor water fountains,
don't you think? . . .
. . . silly utah children! . . .
{and parents}

. . . but lately, it seems,
my favorite form of retail therapy
is online shopping . . .
{i must be getting old and lazy}
. . . i did make it to the post office
this afternoon, though . . .

. . . and these oops!
are now on their way
to florida . . .
. . . expected delivery date:
monday or tuesday . . .

Baby Hayden is one lucky girl. The fabrics that her mama picked out are TDF.
