. . . who are the people in my neighborhood? . . .

. . . a birds' eye
{aka google maps}
view of our home . . .

 {photo taken when amelia and tyler lived here
and what the heck is that object on the patio roof?}

. . . zoom out just a little . . .
{and stop obsessing about that thing on the patio!}
. . . and the photo includes the homes
of our physician and dentist . . .
{it's pretty handy and they're both awesome}
 {can you spot a backyard batting cage?
bougainvillea arbor?
neighborhood basketball court?}

. . . click the zoom out button . . .
. . . now you can see where
our young women president/caterer/
swimming teacher lives . . .
{her pool is realllllly blue}
. . . the solar panels
that live behind me . . .
{pretty!}
. . . our air conditioning guy's home . . .
. . . does your a/c specialist
come walking down the street
delivering your new trane unit
on a refrigerator dolly? . . .
. . . mine did this morning . . .

{can you spot five trampolines?}

. . . see my church? . . .
. . . that building plan
is lovingly called "the turtle" . . .
. . . this neighborhood is home
to all seven of the bishops
~ former and current ~
 of harmony park ward . . .
{i'd put a red dot on each house if i knew how}
. . . our ward is named
after that giant park . . .
{unfortunately the playground wasn't built
until my kids were too old to use it}

. . . but my favorite thing
about this neighborhood
is the fact that we've lived here
for nearly thirty years . . .
. . . our children grew up here . . .
. . . they roamed these streets . . .
{back in the day when kids just played outside ~
 no formal playdates needed}
. . . so many friends . . .
. . . so many memories . . .
. . . home . . .

We made one of the best decisions of our marriage when we chose to build this home with intentions of a "long-term" family life. Our hope was that our children, particularly Amber, would have a perfect environment. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
