. . . seis de mayo . . .

. . . all in all ~ it's been
a pretty good sunday . . .

. . . i gave the invocation
in sacrament meeting today . . .
. . . barefoot . . .
{it was immediately after playing the organ for the opening hymn ~
hence, no time for shoes}
. . . the bishop called me
"twinkle toes"
as i returned to my seat . . .

. . . i went to our daughter,
amber's, ward
to hear her teach
relief society . . .
. . . the lesson was on prayer . . .
. . . amanda was
one of her interpreters . . .
{esther was the other ~ so nice to meet you, esther}
. . . bill was guest speaker
for part of the lesson . . .
. . . i bawled like a baby . . .
. . . no surprise there . . .

. . . i participated in/instigated
a text conversation . . .
. . . i thought i was pretty funny . . .
. . . but i was reminded
by a good friend ~
it should be filed
in the category of
"stop it" . . .
. . . she's right . . .
. . . thank you, good friend! . . .

. . . i made salsa . . .
. . . cinco de mayo was yesterday . . .
. . . close enough . . .

. . . all my grandkids
and almost all my kids
came to dinner . . .
. . . we missed tyler,
drew and jessalyn . . .

. . . chris enjoyed
a scary version of peekaboo
with baby cameron . . .
. . . it was hilarious . . .
. . . until it wasn't . . .

. . . i learned that
an lcd television screen
is no match at all for
a flying evil dr. porkchop
flashlight . . .

. . . and that the quivering chin
of a three-year-old boy
is about the saddest thing
you'll ever see . . .

. . . i am blessed
with an amazing family . . .
. . . i love them all dearly . . .

. . . and like i said
~ all in all ~
it's been
a pretty good sunday . . .

I think that's why I'm glad we've still got a tv that was made in 1988 -- it's a match for anything my kids have thrown at it so far.

It was an emotional roller coaster of a Sunday, for sure. Elliott & Cameron are master lip-quiverers. So funny/sad.
