. . . but it's kinda confusing . . .
. . . something about old dogs
and new tricks . . .
. . . let's just eat corn tortillas,
corn tortilla chips and corn chex
for every meal . . .
. . . mmmkay? . . .
. . . with a couple of honeycrisp apples
thrown in for good measure . . .
. . . i need to know where
the udi brand of gluten free bread
is sold . . .
. . . i've heard it's the best . . .
. . . i also might have to get some
stronger reading glasses . . .
. . . food labels and teensy print
seem to go hand in hand . . .

Have you tried Sprouts yet?
Love those Honey Crisps! Oh that tiny print...they sure don't make it easy!
I think I should just get it over with and commit "flour tortilla suicide"! :)
it is a family change thing, I'm sure you will find good ways to feed yourselves
Udi is at trader joes, I hear. And I'm sorry you have another trail to endure. Hopefully after following a strict diet, dad will be feeling lots better.
Do not buy bread from fry's or any of the gf bread on a shelf. Blech. Rudi or Udi brand is pretty good toasted. Winco actually has one of those two brands in their tiny gf freezer. Sprouts has it too. Trader Joe's doesn't have as much gf in the line of bread, waffles etc. But Sprouts has a lot. And Winco has some gf stuff mixed in w normal frozen items too. If you are ever packing the bread to go, use saran wrap instead of a baggie because it dries out quick. Since gf bread has to be warmed/toasted, it makes yummy grilled cheese sandwiches. That is all.
AJs has yummy gluten free choc chip cookies on a table in their dessert area. They come in plastic 4 for $2ish. Kinda expensive, but way yummier than all the crispy gf cookies. Vom.
And I hear Tinkyada is the best brand for pasta (although Brynlee will eat the Trader Joe's brand or whatever pasta I give her.) And Pamela's has a great baking mix for pancakes. We all eat those and they are pretty normal tasting. And Celiac is lame. Sorry. :(
