. . . a win/win{co} situation . . .

. . . it's day six . . .
. . . winco opened on sunday . . .
. . . i waited as long as i could . . .
. . . and i still had to park
in a neighboring county . . .

. . . fresh popped kettle corn
available on the way in . . .
. . . is that so wrong? . . .

. . . ten pounds of apples
for $2.50? . . .
. . . pretty good deal . . .
. . . i bought a few . . .

. . . even though honey crisp
were the ones i really wanted . . .

. . . these 38¢ avocados
looked good . . .
. . . even though they won't be ripe
 until about halloween . . .
{hardasrocks}

. . . i'm thankful i wasn't shopping
with any small children . . .
. . . we'd never have gotten away
from the bulk candy aisles . . .
. . . there's quite a selection . . .
. . . unless you wanted
cinnamon bears . . .
. . . there were zero in that bin . . .

. . . lotsa pasta . . .
. . . including some fun shapes
you don't see every day . . .

. . . lotsa people, too . . .
. . . some i'm glad
i don't see every day . . .
. . . not everyone there was
wearing their polite shoes today . . .
. . . crankycrankycranky . . .

. . . so much cereal . . .
. . . cap'n crunch jumped ship,
evidently . . .

. . . this was just cute . . .
. . . documenting my love
for roygbiv organization . . .

. . . i was kind of impressed
that there were
so many checkout lanes . . .
. . . AND they were open . . .
{take a lesson, target stores!}

. . . spoiler alert: you do
have to bag
your own groceries . . .
{and coke products are not cheap}

. . . have you been yet? . . .
. . . thoughts? . . .
. . . will you be a repeat customer? . . .

I remember you telling me about this store. I'm so glad to know it is open now. I will be checking it out soon!

They built one just a few blocks from us, I have mixed feelings.

Love the low prices and huge variety of bulk foods.

Like that it's right on my way home from school/work, nice and convenient. I don't shop like I used to when the kids were little so a few bags doesn't kill me.

Hate is a harsh word, but this place is a strong contender with Helmart and I detest that place. Helmart has become a way of life, and not in a good way!

The Spanish chatter, I listen to it every single day at school/work and enough is enough....just sayin!

Do you shop like you used to? I just found myself throwing out cans of corn and green beans that went bad 3 years ago? So much for food storage.

I shop at Winco in Gresham, Oregon. Hard to shop elsewhere because both the prices and produce quality and selection are good. Definitely good to pick your shopping times carefully to avoid so many people, full parking lot, etc. Sunday night the shelves are bare (before restocking).

I live in Temecula, CA and we've had a winco for at least 6 years. It's fun to go shopping and the store is Huge!! I don't do all my shopping there, but they've got some great deals.

Crowds and cranky. My two favorite things. :[
I think I'll stick to Bashas and Safeway.

Can't wait to go there. Hopefully they'll have their chocolate covered cinnamon bears restocked and the grumpsters go away before I go there.
